Mike Young makes move

Michael Young has taken the move to SS into his own hands and went to Buck Showalter himself yesterday and told him that is the position he would like to move to. This instead of letting the problem linger all camp about who the Rangers SS would be. Now all the players can relax, get time in at thier positions all ST and become familiar with each other. Soriano is going to be great at 2nd for us, I can feel it. And Young was a SS all the way up until he came to Texas and made the move to 2nd base. All will be good once these 2 guys go into the season and start making the great double plays that are bound to happen. I just can't wait.

And so far so good. Looks like Young has found his new home as Buck Showalter is happy with what he is seeing with Young at short and Soriano at 2nd base. They look like a great tandum so far.

Also Jarimillo and Soriano have hit it off pretty good. Rudy is the hitting instructor for the Rangers and they seem to be getting in some good work. I know Rudy is going to cut down on those strikeouts by Soriano.
