Man, Im having one of your days today Babs. Everything is irritating me. And I have no idea why? Well I work with people who constantly ask questions over and over again. Plus, its not like they are new. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Doesnt always pay to be in management does it Babs? :angry:

Im going to install a box on the outside of my cube. And if they need to ask a question, they need to drop a quarter in it. :D Maybe that way, it can prevent them from asking the same questions over and over. :D

The problem is Bob, staff-level people don't like to have to think. They find it easier to just ask a question rather than work a problem out in their head. When I ran a payroll department and someone would ask me a question that I know they could answer, I would make them answer the question themselves. So if they said "How do I do this?", I would say, "Well, how do you think you should do it?" That makes them think something through before asking a question. Nowadays, I get mostly technical/computer related questions that I know the staff can not answer themselves.

bob, what you need to do is get one of those automated response things. gives them a slip of paper with the solution after they insert the quarter. if the problem isnt listed above, they have to figure it out themselves. :)
