Only one of these guys will make the team. I love Dauber, but Adam showed great range throwing that guy out at home.

Who would you take?

I don't know too much about this Hyzdu guy to form an opinion. Dauber had a nice clutch double last night.

Daubach has always been clutch. I still remembered how sad we were when he was released. Also, how many ex-Red Sox players are back on the team this year???

Lets see...
Daubach
Schilling
Reese
Burks
Merloni <~~~~does he count?

Any more? :notme:

I'd rather have Daubach just because he has more major league experience and we already know that he can come through in the clutch when needed.

is Hyzdu a prospect or what? has he been around? I love daubach, but he's such a streaky hitter, I dont know if we can count on him always to come through...Hyzdu im guessing still has much future

Merloni hit a 3-run homer for the Indians today. Go Lou! :clap2:

Hyzdu is 32...he's definitely not a prospect. He's basically been a career minor leaguer.

Hyzdu is anything but a prospect. He is a decent guy to have off the bench, and shows the occasional power, but he is nothing to write home about.

well in that case I would much rather have Brian Daubach. He's been around the majors longer, and has more experience. I can't believe ive never seen Hyzdu around...I guess he's not that good after all.

I didn't know Hyzdu was that old. I'll take Dauber.

Dauber definitley. I remember Hyzdu from when he played for the Paw Sox

No offense to the Pirates, but if Hyzdu couldn't crack their lineup for any significant amount of time, then the Sox probably don't need him.
