O.K. guys, now that the red-sox-Yankee rivalry officcially has begun for 2004 (yanks beat sox 11-7 today) let the venting begin. I know i'm pissed, stupid shiell

Look at it this way...the skanks didn't start hitting until the Sox put in a guy who likely won't be on the roster Opening Day. Meanwhile, the Sox smacked around Contreras who WILL be in their rotation. :clap2:

But yes, the skanks still SUCK.

The funniest thing (OK, ONE of the funniest things) about Skank fans is that they don't have a clue what we're saying when we say "Yankees SUCK!"

It has nothing to do with the quality of their play or the fact that, as they CONSTANTLY remind us, they have won 26 World Championships. None of us is stupid enough to say that. What it DOES have to do with is their arrogance, the sheer contempt they show for the other 29 teams (and the fans of those teams) and, as my favorite author put it, their "selfish disdain for the feelings of others." They bend the rules just short of the breaking point, and they generally get away with it. No one else matters in their little world. It starts at the top, with the Megalomaniac-in-Chief himself, and works its way down to the children whose very souls have been polluted by this garbage.

THAT is the definition of "Yankees SUCK!" They always have, and they always will.

Yankee-hating is as North American as apple pie. Revel in it my friends. Revel in it.

BTW, they have not won another championship since they polluted the sacred ground of Shea Stadium in 2000. The Mighty Rockette stole dirt from a mound he was too much of a fraidy-scared girly-man to pitch from. They watched highlights in the clubhouse afterwards and sprayed beer on the TV when Bobby Valentine appeared on the screen (if you don't believe me find copies of the New York Post from late October 2000 -- I still have the clipping).

Who knows why they haven't won another. Could it be because of a Shea Curse? Or perhaps it's a much more mundane reason -- because an awful lot of their fans can't count higher than 26 and they don't want to tax their little brains too much.
