Thumb problem from last year. Worst case scenario could miss 3 months. Going for more tests today.

He hurt it in the Toronto game Saturday. MRI revealed more than a bruise.

More tests are needed.

Remember when Manny hurt his thumb a couple of years ago? He was out for a LONG time.

I remember. He missed like 63 games and then sucked for 2 weeks and ended the year on the DL right?

They're not gonna give him surgery, he's just gonna play with the injury. Good Luck to him, can't be easy to hit with a busted thumb.

Are you kidding?? Then his thumb is going to take FOREVER to heal, and you can not grip a bat with a busted up thumb. It's going to hurt like a BEEOTCH when he makes contact!

Now Sheffield is pissed off at Cashman for doing his job.

Watching Sheffield get pissed is a beautiful thing. I can't wait for him to start dogging it.
