I didn't know if maybe some of you guys could help me out with this? Obri, maybe since you're closer than I am you may have a little information for me?

Anyway, I have heard a rumor that the Pogues and Shane MacGowan will be reuniting this summer for a tour???? Anybody know ANYTHING about this??? Any information would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm going to be extremely disappointed if it just a rumor, but non the less, I'm a whole lot more than just a little excited at the idea! It's supposed to be a US Tour, and regardless of where in the US it is, I'm going, I don't care if it takes every cent I have! :D

I dont know, actually, I dont even know who the the Pogues and Shane MacGowan are. :D But I can tell you one thing though, I heard that James is going to get together with N'Sync for a reunion tour. But keep it on the down low. Its a secret. :shh: :D

No dates for the Pogues according to my sources, however, Shane MacGowan is doing solo dates this month:

March 20th - Manchester at Manchester Academy
March 21st - Nottingham at Rock City
March 22nd - Newcastle (TBA)

I knew he was doing a small solo tour at the end of this month and he's also supposed to be touring with the popes (his new band) soon as well. I'm on a Shane MacGowan mailing list (kind of like a fan club thing I guess) and the latest news is of this rumor. Unless it's just some jack@ss stirring up stuff... in which case I'm gonna be mad! I was always a little depressed over the fact that I would never get to see the Pogues live, and to think that I might have the chance to is completely amazing! :)

I've heard the same thing about a Shane McGowan tour on WXRT in Chicago the other day.I didn't get the gist of the info.I just know,they played some Pogues tunes the other day for St.Patty's Day.
