Blue Jays and Phantoms Scouting for New Talent
Auditions for Entertainers set for February 4th
By Toronto Blue Jays

The rosters of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Phantoms are stacked with performers that thrill and delight the fans with their exploits on the field. Now the teams are joining forces to look for entertaining individuals that can do the same in the stands and outside SkyDome and Air Canada Centre.

This could be your chance to shine, singing, dancing or performing in other unique and creative ways in front of crowds numbering in the thousands! Family-oriented entertainers are invited to audition for the Blue Jays and Phantoms on Monday, Feb. 4 at SkyDome. If you can impress the Toronto scouts in 3 minutes or less, you might be on your way to the big time!

Interested performers, 19 years and older only, should report to Gate 7 for registration running from 11:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Auditions will begin at noon and will run until all registered performers have had a chance to "strut their stuff".

Animals will not be permitted in SkyDome. Any acts involving animals should submit a VHS "demo tape" to the Blue Jays and Phantoms. Similarly, any performer unable to attend the auditions on February 4th should forward a VHS tape demonstrating their talents to the clubs no later than Friday, Feb. 8. VHS tapes can be sent to:
