Opening Day activities: The Twins said that fewer than 2,000 tickets remain for Opening Day, which is Monday vs. the Indians at 7:05 p.m. CT. Tickets for the opener and all Twins games can be purchased online by going to the ticketing section of twinsbaseball.com

Before the opener, Hall of Famer and former Twins great Rod Carew will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Country music recording artist Carolyn Dawn Johnson will perform the National Anthem.

The Metrodome plaza will be buzzing from 6-9 a.m. CT., as the Twins once again will host "Breakfast on the Plaza". Fans are invited to stop by for free coffee, donuts, newspapers and have a chance to win free tickets for the opener.
