Spring training is almost here and I look here for some local tidbits of information to help me in my roto endeavors, and I find---nothing? Surely there are some fans who might like to talk about the upcoming change of both ownership an caoching staff, and general manager! How do you see it affecting the team? Some, not at all? Come on, it has to have some kind of effect!! And I need to know some of the local gossip about which players are about to come on and which are ready to tank it--me and a couple thousand others! The only way we can find that kind of stuff out is from you, the local fans--it won't be on ESPN.If you want to know that kind of stuff about the Phillies, I promise I'll do my best to get you an answer if you--someone--will do the same for me and the others on this board. Somebody step up!!

The Marlins IMO are so messed up....They haven't even finalized their Spring Training schedule yet....How all the other teams are finalized and they aren't I have no idea but tickets for their games, which I tried to get some for a Mets game the 1st Saturday in March are not even on sale until Feb 2nd, tentatively:hmm:
They really need to get their crap together....

The sad part is Florida has boatloads of talent. Dempster, Burnett, Penny, and Beckett is the second best young rotation in the game behind the A's big three.

Derrek Lee has talent, so does Lowell and Floyd. Castillo's a good young second baseman, and CJ is great for the young arms.

If this team had one more serviceable pitcher (in the Baldwin mode) and one more bat who could hit 20 homers, they'd be ready for contention. Unfortunately the owner doesn't care anymore.
