To win a league MVP, a player has to put together some very good stats over a 162 game schedule. But to be named MVP of a World Series, he needs only to get hot for a few games. Don Larsen(56), Bucky Dent(78), and Rick Dempsey(83) each won a World Series MVP, but they didn't ever come close to winning a league MVP. Let's see how well you know your league and World Series MVP winners. Which of the following statements are true and which are false?

A. Orel Hershiser won a World Series MVP, but did not win a league MVP

B. George Foster did not win a World Series MVP, but did win a league MVP

C. Brooks Robinson won a World Series MVP and a league MVP.

D. Gary Carter won a World Series MVP but did not win a league MVP

E. Sal Bando did not win a World Series MVP, nor did he win a league MVP.

Tougher?? I think james must own every baseball book around so it will be impossible....Ask him what color underwear gary carter was wearing when he won his first allstar mvp or something......Man has too many references to stump him with trivia questions......
