HOUSTON - The Houston Astros announced today that they will hold auditions for the Coca-Cola Field Patrol on February 11 and 12 at Enron Field. The Coca-Cola Field Patrol is the Astros on-field spirit squad that performs during all home games and during special Astros functions.
The three-hour auditions will be held on both days (February 11 and 12) from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on the third floor of the Union Station building at Enron Field. Participants should enter the Union Station lobby (at the corner of Texas and Crawford) and proceed up the elevators by Ruggles Cafe to the third floor.
Now in its ninth season, the energetic Coca-Cola Field Patrol squad enhances the baseball experience at Astros games by involving the fans in baseball related activities. The 10-member squad interacts with and entertains young fans with lighthearted antics and works in connection with the Astros mascot, Junction Jack, to keep fans enthusiastic.
