We took the first 2 out of 4 games from Anahiem. And we really hammered in the runs in both. Yesterday we just sat down the bats and let Chan Ho give them a try at scoring. Man he didn't look good. We play the Angels again tonight, let's hope we can take a 3 out of 4 games from them!!!

Considering what people were expecting from the Rangers and predictions of how bad they would be, they are doing pretty darn good. Not too mention taking 2 from the Angels...That's not-too-shabby :-)

When and where where you in Michigan? My dad was stationed in New Baltimore area. Forget the name of the base. This was in 1992 -1994 though. I think that base closed down.

I was born and raised in MI. Lived in Lansing and Detroit. Went active duty after high school and was stationed in TX at Ft. Hood. Got out of the Army moved back to MI. Then to GA for warmer weather and better jobs. Joined the guard after 9/11, got sent to Iraq, came back home, now I'm changing my job in the military and being sent to TX for a yr for schooling.

Was it Selfridge AFB you were at? I think that might be the one by New Baltimore...

Yeah I think that was the name.

My Dad was a Chief in the Navy. He worked 20 years to get that rank, and another 6 after that. He started off as a Aviational Electrician. He was in line on the tarmack he told us, to go to Vietnam, but a guy walked up and said they needed 3 AE's to report to St. Louis for something, and my dad stepped out of line. That saved him. He can describe in detail any airplane engine the Navy flies. He would tell guys over the phone how to fix planes that came in and needed repair late at night. He is still adjusting to the civilian life. He keeps going from job to job.

He came to TX after Selfridge to move the Navy base at Dallas to the Joint Naval Air Station in Fort Worth. He was the head guy here for awhile. He was lucky and never was sent to any Wars. I am very thankful for that. And I think my mom is also. Good luck with the new job change. What are you going to do?

Thanks.

I'm my new job is going to be Biomedical Equipment Repair.

Looks like a great field to get into. Definately better than what I'm currently doing (computer/IT field).
