He couldn' start yesterday because he felt something in his shoulder while throwing. However, an MRI revelaed it was just an irritated tendon, I believe, and he is expected to make his next start.

Sabathia expected to miss a week
April 23, 2004
DETROIT (AP) -- Cleveland's C.C. Sabathia is expected to be sidelined for at least a week after straining his biceps tendon.
``If all goes the way we hope, we're potentially looking at next weekend to get him back out there,'' Indians manager Eric Wedge said before Friday's game in Detroit.
Sabathia experienced soreness in the tendon Thursday while preparing to start against Kansas City and was removed from the lineup just before the game. An MRI exam showed nothing more than a strained tendon, and he was able to play catch without pain in the outfield before Friday's game.
``We examined him this morning and he looked and felt great,'' Indians trainer Lonnie Soloff said. ``At this point, though, we want to take every precaution possible for his long-term health.''
If Sabathia experiences no ill-effects from Friday's throwing session, he is expected to do some light tossing in the bullpen on Saturday or Sunday, then a more strenuous session early next week before he would be available to start.
The Indians juggled their pitching staff on Friday, sending Jeriome Robertson to Triple-A Buffalo and recalling Jason Anderson. Robertson allowed eight runs -- five earned -- in 5 1-3 innings on April 20 against Kansas City, his only outing for Cleveland after being called up from Buffalo that day.
Anderson, who split last season between the Yankees and Mets, was 1-0 with a 1.93 ERA in three games for Buffalo since being claimed on waivers from the Mets on April 8.
