Pretty cool, Kiwi. Lots of neat places to see flowers all over Holland for the next month or so.

There's another pretty neat garden over in your general neck o' the woods that should be blooming just about now ... Can't remember the name of the place, but it's due west of Roanoke Island about 30-40 minutes on the mainland if I recall correctly.

Yeah I think I know what you are talking about, it is called Elizabethan Gardens near Roanoke Island.

BINGO! Patty May pulled out the brochure from the place, and it's actually on Roanoke Isle ... We stayed at the First Colony Inn between Nags Head and Kill Devil Hills on the Outer Banks, and even though it was fairly poopy weather the 3 days we were there, we still had a blast ... I spent the first day at the FC Inn just tagging along with the owner listening to his stories about how they cut the old building in half (about 18 rooms at the place) and moved it from its original location about a mile up the beach :eek: Amazing stuff and, like I said, lots of fun things to do and see in that area no matter what the weather's like.

When I have free time, me and my wife will definitely go there. We love to visit historic places!
