What A Comeback!!!

The White Sox staged a 5-run 9th inning comeback this afternoon to stun the Cleveland Indians 9-8 at The Cell.

The rally was capped off by a game-winning,bases loaded sac fly by Sandy Alomar,Jr.,scoring Joe Crede to win it.

The key play in the 9th inning was a dropped fly ball by Cleveland 1B Ben Broussard off the bat of Paul Konerko.That should have been the 2nd out of the inning.The Sox took full advantage of the miscue,and eventually won the game and salvage a split with the Tribe.

It was the biggest 9th inning comeback since 1992,when they overcame a 4-run deficit in Detroit.

i listened to most of the game on the radio. turned it off when it went 8-8 as it was time for me to leave work.

This would have never happened under Jerry Manuel. They would have packed it in after going down 8-2.

No kidding, its so fun watching the games now!! First the one against teh Devil Rays, and now this one!! Its gonna be a fun season to watch! I was nervous though when Alomar came up, he hasn't been hitting that well as of late, but he came through!
