OAKLAND -- The A's announced Wednesday that they have invited 16 non-roster players to their Major League spring training camp in Phoenix, Ariz.
Along with the members of the 40-man roster, the non-roster players give the A's 56 players in camp: 27 pitchers, four catchers, 15 infielders and nine outfielders.
The 16 players invited to report to Major League spring training include RHP Heath Bost, LHP Micah Bowie, C Robinson Cancel, RHP Rocky Coppinger, 3B Jose Flores, RHP Bryce Florie, C Cody McKay, C Carlos Mendez, RHP Larry Luebbers, RHP Tim McClaskey, 2B Chad Meyers, RHP Matt Miller, RHP Aaron Scheffer, 1B/OF Larry Sutton, RHP Ismael Villegas and OF Michael Warner.
Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to major league camp on Feb. 16 with the first workout slated for Feb. 17. The full squad reports on Feb. 20 with the first workout scheduled for Feb. 21
