Well it looks like CBS Sportsline is charging $100 per league again for their Commisioner services....anyone know if there are any free sites still out there for baseball?

Yahoo and Sandbox when they start....Yahoo will probably do one of each this year a Free game and a Pay game like they did in football.....as far as a commisioners service I don't know of any personally, only have done individual ones myself....I know a group of us here use Yahoo and it tends to work fine......

I guess i am somewhat familiar with those (yeah I am one of those that makes a team and then never checks it :hmm: ) but what i am looking for is a site that will allow you to enter the teams and also your scoring method....thanks for the reply I am looking at the yahoo site now to see if it can accomplish what we need
the yahoo one's pretty good... too bad they did that to sportlsline it looked like the most useful of all and I never had a chance to try it out

Yes Sportline was/is definately a good site have used it for many leagues in 3 different sports and have no complaints (well until they got greedy and wanted to charge $100 again)
The Yahoo site DOES seem capable of doing a lot of what Sportline did with the exception of reserve rosters...so I am still looking around
I just hate to think of some of my winnings going to CBS
Welcome to these boards... one of the best communities of people I've found on the internet and hope ya stick around. So who's your baseball team?
nevermind, saw your thread in rookie league

CBS still has fantasy baseball for free....They have a few different packages, but still offer a free one....
I also play on that one with a bunch of fiends that i know....We each put in $10 at the beginning and winner take all...

You can play for free on CBS Sportsline if you want to play by their rules --similar to Sandbox-- but if you have a league of you and your friends and want your own rules it will cost you $99...last year this stat service was free
