Their are many teams I want to see slip and fall. The yanks are one of them. once the old timers are done and have hung up their cleates the yanks will have nothing. THey have a stripmining affect going on now. For every player they recieve they have given a couple prospects for.

Needless to say....I don't want the Yanks to fall. I think they'll be prepared when O'Neill, Tino, and anyone else retires. I mean, come on, their the Yankees. Their not going to end up like the Bulls when Jordan and Pippen left!

IN A PERFECT WORLD--WE'D ALL BE YANKEES

I really don't cheer against any team, unless they are directly playing my Pirates...

You are forgetting that the rest of baseball is a farm system for the Yankees. Tino was from Seattle, Brocous(sp?) came from Oakland, Knobby from the Twins, Clemens, Mussina, Justice, and on & on & on...

This team can buy on the FA market what they need when it isn't in their system. The homegrown players, when they become FA eligible are resigned by the Yanks, because they can out bid most other teams for talent, so their own young stars stay at home, and when they have a bad signing, or an expensive guy goes down with a career ending injury, they have deep enough pockets to eat the contract... this team plays on another financial level than most of the rest of baseball. Their farm system is hardly stripped either...

It is the only team I always cheer against :D

I would cheer on the Braves before I cheer on the Skanks :hmm:

It's the team I love to hate :)

I don't think "fall hard" quite sums up what I'd like to see the Yanks do. But that team seems to be kissed by destiny yet again. It seems my beloved Mets aren't going to make any noise this season, so I'm rooting for the Cubbies, Phillies, D'backs in the NL and the Red Sox and Mariners in the AL.

Ok, I have an idea ...
How about the winner gets to pick the title under one's name??
So if I were to lose yuo could make me have something like I love the Yanks under my name...
What do you think Kel??

Good idea, James..

Ok, something similar for our bet. How 'bout the loser has to use the others avatar for a few months. So when the Sox win the East, you have to use the Red Sox avatar..

Deal? :bigsquare

Works for me! You better start looking real close at my Avatar, cuz it's going to be under your name!
