 As usual, a very cool movie. I really enjoyed, gave a new twist to an old story, although I wonder if the pursists of the genre would object. Kinda like if Superman teamed up with the X-Men. Koz, you might be the closest we have here to an expert, wondered what you'd think of it.

Parts of the dialogue were cheesy and some of the special effects were lacking and didn't do the movie justice, but overall I really liked it!

I'll probably go see a matinee one of these afternoons.

The Chronicals of Riddick looks even better to me...less cheese. :)

I swear, I was just coming here to post about that movie. :D

Anyway, I went to the theaters today to see it with my brother since he's in town. We both loved it. I, personally, thought it was awesome and wouldn't mind going to see it again. I'll definitely buy it when it's released on DVD.

I love the old, classic horror films that these characters are from, like Dracula with Bela Lugosi. That's one of the reasons that I wanted to go see this movie. I'm glad that I did. I really enjoyed it. :)

What i think they should do is do it likes this, instead of making 1 movie with the hunt for all 3 ppl, dracula, frank, wolf they should do sepeerate movies for each character and spend more time on each

Forgot to critique this movie..
Went with Kat last Monday and I really liked this movie... I love movies like this...

The only problem I had was with the acting... Besides Jackman, the rest of the cast seemed almost like B-rated actors and actresses... They were just kinda cheesey:(

The plot, story and action was very good... It will definitely be in my DVD collection when it comes out.....

I thought it was cool, had some good one-liners. Plus anything with Jackman is worth going to see--nice added bonus :luvkiss: The rest of the cast was pretty corny though, but I think it fit well into the movie.

I was watching NY1 yesterday and they were running down the nominees for the TONYS. It was weird seeing Jackman in Boy from Oz dancing, smiling with his maracas and shiny clothes after seeing him kick some butt in Van Helsing. He is so damn versatile. My favorite character by far is Wolverine. :)

Has anyone else seen the animated version??

Kinda a prequel to the movie...

Hugh Jackman is the voice of Helsing in the cartoon... Good story involving Jekyll and Mr. Hyde...
