I got this little tidbit from ESPN:

3B Kevin Youkilis, whose first major-league hit was a homer at SkyDome on May 15, joined Lenny DiNardo as victims of the team's annual rookie hazing, The Boston Globe reported May 17. Youkilis and DiNardo had to pass through U.S. Customs dressed as Hooters girls.

Most teams have that kind of "hazing" for the rookies. The Mets always do it when they come back from Montreal in September. They have made them dress as women, as superheroes, as animals, etc.

They even do it for first-year non-uniformed personnel such as equipment guys and trainers.

as much as I think hazing shouldn't be allowed, it's still funny. I heard Lenni Dinardo talk about it he said he hoped here were no pictures...
