Who are the only three players to hit for the cycle AND hit a walk-off home run in the same game?

Was Bob Watson one of them?

Watson was not one of them, but generally, you're in the right era for all three.

How about George Brett, Mike Greenwell and John Mayberry?

Brett is the HOFer! He did it on 5-28-79 against the Orioles. It was his second home run of the game and came against Sammy Stewart in the bottom of the 16th.

Cool. That leaves two. Larry Hisle and Bobby Murcer?

Not Hisle or Murcer. You are looking for a Twin and a Red Sox player.

Ceasar Tovar and Fred Lynn?

Tovar did it on 9-19-72 against the Rangers. His two run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth off of Dave LaRoche gave the Twins a 5-3 win.

The other player was a teammate of Lynn.
