i was disapointed that Glavine did not get the perfect game nor the no-hitter. But he did great. Nice series by the Mets. They have been playing better lately.

Tom Glavine had a no-hitter through 8 1/3 innings on Sunday and finished with a one-hit shutout. Glavine had a season-high eight strikeouts and only one walk. :clap:

I couldn't believe that when I heard it! One of the most effective pitchers of several years, and he never had a one hitter?? In 2000 I think I saw Bobby Jones throw three on hitters, Trax has thrown a few, but this was Glavine's first?? Incredible. But better late than never!

Not to be picky, but it was 8 and 2 thirds. :D

It was also the only 1-hitter of his career.
