You're not only one. Brat jinxed the game, too! I thwapped his head with my "Let's Go, Mets" sign that I got at Opening Day. I wanted to throttle him, :laff: OH well, at least we had a ball there even though I got sunburned so badly. On way home, I sneezed non stop from NY to CT!!!!!!!! I made Larry to stop at McD's in Darien to get more napkins when I ran out of tissues. I still feel woozy and heachachy. But I was so damn happy that I took several nice pictures of Toddles, Mike Piazza, one of Wiggy and a couple of Cliff Floyd. Even Mr. Met UPCLOSE!!!!!!!! He was in a few rows in front of me to wish one fan a happy birthday! Awesome!
Kat, I met your mom...She's so GREAT AND AWESOME LADY! I was so jealous of her when she showed me the pics of her with Toddles at Sak's yesterday. He looked so damn YUMMY!!!!!!!!

Don't blame yourself Cyn, Julie ALMOST said the word "perfect" (before the walk) but only got out the "per" until aprile almost killed her! ;)
I had a knot in my stomach most of the game!

Everyone seems to have a knot in the stomach, including me and other people in front of me.

I didn't even get "per" out. All I got was the "puh."
Sounds to me as if there was a lot of blame to go around.
Don't forget Dave O'Brien though.

Waaaay too much blame. The guy in front of us who hit his friend in the head....O'Brian....when you and I smoothed out our crumpled tickets thinking we would save them for prosperity...

My cousin was like "Wooo. Only four more outs!" I smacked him upside the head. :Pissed:
But it was still beautiful to watch.

I'm still saving that ticket. How often do you get to see a Hall of Famer pitch the only 1-hitter of his career?

All I meant is that it's the only one he's had so far. :notme:

I still can't believe that. Seventeen years, two Cy Youngs, and no one-hitters?? Huh.

Thanks! I hear you're were pretty cool yourself. What's this I hear that Keith was wearing a METS cap? Woo-hoo! Maybe there is hope! :) Todd is quite a stud! And I am happy that Mets fans are more accepting of him this time around :D. Misha, I am going to PM ya in a few!
:sigh: I was so sad after that Kit Pellow got that hit. Today I was able to see. In my opinion, the fans got a little too rowdy, (at least the ones in the surrounding sections), having never experienced a no hitter I just assumed it is supposed to be quiet. Me, I was on the edge of my seat, not talking, barely looking. Just my opinion is all....
Today, I was able to see the bigger picturr: we got to see Glavine's first career 1-hitter, the Mets are a .500 team, I'm 5-1 on the year and dammit I love that big, blue stadium. :D

LOL! Yeah, Keith had to wear it for one day and will put it away somewhere in his room along other Skanks, Little League teams, Mets and other caps stuffed in his closet. :hmm: Actually I got him a cap rack but haven't gotten around to hang that up so he can put the caps in. I think he needs another cap rack because I think there are too many caps stuffed in there. *holds her nose*
Yeah, I'm disappointed that Kit Pellow made a hit while Keith gave me his evil grin that I promptly whap his head upside.
