Finally,the Sox can leave the Metrodome felling good abot themselves,thanks to a 17-7 drubbing of the Twins today.The Sox set season highs with 17 runs on 17 hits in the game.They sent 12 men to the plate in the 4th inning,scoring 8 runs in the frame,and sent another 11 to the plate in the 6th,scoring 5 more.

The 1-5 hitters in the Sox lineup were a combined 16-for-29 with 2 homers,11 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

The Sox take 3 of 4 at the Metrodome and move back into a first place tie with the Twins in the Al Central.

Oh,just for snicks here,the Sox left 13 men stranded

Thats crazy how they can have 13 men LOB and still socre 17 runs:eek:

Sox are hitting the hell out of the ball right now scoring 8 or more runs in 4 of the last 5....

That's what's so crazy about the game there.The Sox also had 8 walks to go with the 23 hits in the game.

8 of those 13 runners were left in scoring position.

I expect more of the same offense when the Texas Rangers come to town tomorrow night.

Great game for the Sox that is for sure but the Twins will be back!!!! ;)

That was us taking out some frustration on you guys for last September there.I have every reason to believe that it's going to be a 2 team race all the way.
