Well, we DO have Youkilis, and Nomar and Nixon should be back soon.

At least you guys havnt lost as much as the Twins.... They have about 7 of the 8 fielding starters hurt. Some are coming back now but they have lost a ton of players also but keep on ticking and I think the Sox will be able to do the same...

:censor:

That means we can expect to see more of Gabe Kapler and Caeser Salad.

:Puter:

Christ, Mueller will probably be back before Trot and Nomar anyway. :hmm:

I had both Sexson and Mueller on my big money fantasy team. I am screwed hard. At least I have Bellhorn to fill in at 3rd.

Join the club Jac.

The Mets have only had Floyd for about 15 games this season; we haven't seen Reyes at all yet; Leiter will be out more than his 15 days; David Weathers is not on the DL but he hasn't pitched in ages; Ty Wigginton was on the DL with an ulcer; Grant Roberts had surgery AGAIN; Scott Erickson has been injured since he warmed up for his first start of the season in early April.

You are not alone my friend. Not even remotely.

Bill Mueller will have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Friday to help relieve symptoms of an arthritic condition, according to the AP. He's expected to be sidelined for six weeks.

The Red Sox recalled Andy Dominique from Triple-A Pawtucket today to replace the injured Bill Mueller on the roster. Dominique was hitting .321 with seven home runs and 38 RBI at Pawtucket.
