Angels announce TV schedule for 2002 season

ANAHEIM, CA - The Angels announced their television broadcast schedule for all games televised by KCAL 9 and Fox Sports Net during the upcoming 2002 season, in an announcement by John Covarrubias, Angels' Vice President of Advertising Sales and Broadcasting.

"One of our goals each season is to provide Angels' fans with enjoyable and informative television broadcasts of our games," said Covarrubias. "We appreciate our partnerships with KCAL 9 and Fox Sports Net and their efforts towards continuing our tradition of quality broadcasts for our fans and viewers."

Through the agreements with KCAL 9 and Fox Sports Net, the Angels will have 90 games aired on television during the 2002 season. KCAL 9 will broadcast 40 games, including 25 road contests and 15 home games. Fox Sports Net will air a total of 50 games this season, including three road games.

Other Anaheim Angels games may also be selected for broadcast by FOX National and ESPN during the season.
