I'm quoting from his Page 2 story.

"Twenty minutes after the Yankees eliminated the Sox, I called my Dad to make sure he was alive." "I was not joking." "This is what it means to be a Sox fan, hoping your Dad picks up the phone because there is a 5% chance the Sox killed him."

"Exagerration?" No.

"Do I love being a Sox fan?" "Yes."

I thought that summed it up nice. Just for the record, my mom, my Dad, my 2 uncles, my friends Chris, Joe, Tommy, and Lisa all called me moments after. They wanted to make sure I wasn't dead.

it's tough being a sox fan, there is no doubt about it. even when we have a good team we can't win...

We Sox fans live and die by our team we are true FANS :)

It is tough but I wouldn't want it any other way.

RED SOX RULE!!!

I second that motion! you can't be a real fan unless you face and overcome hardships, and there is no fan on earth who has overcome more hardship than a red sox fan. stay the course fans, power to our people!

Which is why anyone who calls themselves a "die-hard" Yankee fan makes me laugh. When has a Yankee fan ever had to "die?"
