Shea Hillenbrand (3B) ARZ
The Diamondbacks moved Shea Hillenbrand down to the sixth spot in the batting order on Thursday. The move was made to get Danny Bautista into the cleanup spot.

The Diamondbacks moved Danny Bautista to the cleanup spot on Thursday. Manager Bob Brenly said that he hoped that Bautista's presence would give No. 3 hitter Luis Gonzalez more good pitches to hit.

Scott Service
Diamondbacks manager Bob Brenly said Friday that he will use Scott Service as the closer in place of Jose Valverde, at least for a while, according to the AP. Service's contract was purchased Thursday from Triple-A Tucson, where he was 5-0 with eight saves and a 3.68 ERA in 21 appearances.
Miguel Cabrera
Miguel Cabrera will get a day off Saturday, according to the AP. He has been slowed by a twinge in his left hamstring and was taken out of Friday's game in the seventh.

Diamondbacks outfield prospect Luis Terrero has been suspended five games for his part in a bench-clearing brawl with Triple-A Tucson, according to the Arizona Republic. Terrero could also face assault charges for allegedly throwing a baseball into the stands and hitting a female fan. The throw was believed to be intentional, though Terrero was reportedly aiming for someone else.

Roberto Alomar rejoined the Diamondbacks in Los Angeles and has been cleared to resume light baseball activities, according to the Arizona Republic. Alomar said that he hopes to be able to return to action in about 2 1/2 weeks.
