Minor Leagues | Altoona powers past Reading, 6-3

ALTOONA, Pa. - Bryan Bullington won his third straight start, while Chris Duffy homered and drove in three runs as the Altoona Curve beat the Reading Phillies, 6-3, in the Eastern League yesterday.
Duffy hit Robinson Tejada's first pitch of the game over the fence in right for an opposite-field homer to lead off the first inning, and Josh Bonifay's solo homer in the fifth put Altoona (25-21) up by 4-0.
Reading (19-26) battled back with three runs in the sixth on Kurt Keene's two-run homer and an RBI groundout by Jim Deschaine.
Trenton 8, Harrisburg 6
TRENTON - Mitch Jones drove in three runs as the Thunder beat the Senators in the Eastern League.
Hagerstown 13, Lakewood 1
LAKEWOOD, N.J. - The BlueClaws managed only three hits off three Suns pitchers and fell in the South Atlantic League.
Newark 7, Camden 3
Brad Strauss had three hits for the second straight night, but the Riversharks lost to the Bears in an Atlantic League game at Campbell's Field.
Atlantic City 15, Somerset 1
ATLANTIC CITY - Dario Delgado went 3 for 4 with a homer and four RBIs as the Surf routed the Patriots in the Atlantic League.
Delgado's homer was his sixth, tying him for the league lead with Nashua's Glen Murray. Ozzie Timmons went 2 for 4 with two runs, a homer and three RBIs for the Surf.
Rained out. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre's International League game at Columbus was rained out. The teams will play a doubleheader today beginning at 5:05 p.m.
