Hello all. I just wanted to announce that I will be off to Round Rock today to watch tonight's game. My friends and I may also watch tommorrow's game, but we haven't decided on that yet. I'm bringing my digital camera and will be taking plenty of photographs (I may even include some of me for those who are interested). I will bring back a full report. In particular, I want to see if my cousin gets to pitch and will be looking at our speedy outfield.
I'm bringing my computer along and hope I can accidentally tap into someone's wireless connection. If not, I'll simply download the pictures and go from there. In the meantime, I'll leave the Astros in the capable hands of Pops, TC, and Annie.

If you get a chance, give me a call while you're here (341-7889). I can't make it to the games, but I'll be around if you need a computer or a place to hang. I only live a few miles from Dell Diamond.

Sorry TC, I left right after I made that post and never got an internet connection. The game was a great one as the Express drew more than ten walks and ended up winning on a walk off home run by Jimermon. Harville looked decent enough in his two innings, but I was not very impressed with Gothreaux at all. He struggled to throw strikes and gave up six runs in five innings. Overall, I would have to say that Mike Hill impressed me with a couple of at bats and Whiteman looked pretty smooth at short. The first baseman (name escaped me) reached base four times in a good effort as well. Someone named Guerrero hit an absolute bomb for the Missions. He looks like another Guerrero we all know and love (not Pedro).
