Thanks to Blue tossing Jimy, Jason Lane got an AB, pinch-hitting for Stone. He went down swinging. This is so not-good. It's not like he gets a whole lot of chances. I can see Jimy using this as an excuse to give him even fewer chances (as if that were possible).

I love Jason to pieces, but I am not happy with the universe right now. Anybody got any idea how to appease the baseball gods?

:eek:Wow! I ate the spider because I way wierd about them. Figured if there was anything I could do, it would have to be something of significance. You already know I'm superstitious. The spider was there, it wasn't too hairy and looked alot like Steve Garvey (I hated Garvey), so I ate it. Couldn't sleep afterward, but the streak was broken.

I was furious with Francona for blowing a game, like tonight :angry:, and a spider was on my desk. I shooed it off, and the bastard came back, so I pretended it was Francona the EFFING MORON :angry:, and I ate it.
