Need trade help

I was offered Abreu for Schilling. Normally I'd accept but my SP's are kinda weak so losing Curt would really hurt. I have Paul Wilson and Glavine. The Braves just put Ramirez on the dl and I'm in line to get Schoeneweis and will drop Hafner for Sele. What else can I do? I figured having a large amount of good hitters I could use them as trade bate. Maybe.

I couldn't lose Schilling and not get a starter in return so I offered Schilling and Finley for Abreu and Clement. I'll see if he accepts.

Depending on the size of the league, the waiver wire could be full of good hitters. But good pitchers are a rare commodity. Sounds to me like you should keep Schilling.

The league has 12 teams so hitters aren't very good on the WW. I did decide to keep Schilling though.
