MOOSIC, Pa. - Pablo Ozuna's sacrifice fly scored Lou Collier in the eighth inning, sending the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons to a 4-3 victory over the Indianapolis Indians last night in the International League.

Collier singled and stole second, then went to third when catcher Alex Delgado's throw went into center field.

Bowie 7, Reading 4

READING - Eugene Kingsale's three-run home run in the 12th gave the Baysox an Eastern League win over the Phillies.

Scott Youngbauer led off the first with a home run and Ryan Howard followed with a solo shot, his league-leading 14th homer of the year, to make the score 2-0.

The Baysox scored one run in the fourth before Jeff Phelps hit a two-run homer to give the Phillies a 4-1 lead in the seventh.

Gavin Floyd pitched seven strong innings for Reading, allowing just four singles and one run. He struck out six and walked one but did not figure in the decision.

Lakewood 5, Lexington 0

LAKEWOOD, N.J. - Clemente Doble and Chris Honsa combined on a four-hit shutout as the BlueClaws blanked the Legends for their third South Atlantic League win in a row.

Doble, who joined the BlueClaws on Friday after extended spring training in Clearwater, retired the first eight batters he faced and struck out six of the first 10 Lexington hitters through three innings.

Omar Bramasco belted a solo home run in the second inning.

Trenton 8, Binghamton 0

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - Javier Ortiz pitched 62/3 shutout innings and got three RBIs apiece from Aaron Rifkin and Dioner Navarro as the Thunder beat the Mets in the Eastern League.

Ortiz has a scoreless string of 182/3 consectuive innings and has not allowed an earned run in 212/3 innings.

Newark 10, Atlantic City 7

NEWARK, N.J. - Catcher Jason Torres blasted two home runs, his first of the season, as the Bears beat the Surf in the Atlantic League.

Orlando Miller hit a two-run homer in the fifth and a solo blast in the seventh for the Surf.

Somerset 4, Camden 1

CAMDEN - The Patriots avoided a three-game sweep by the Riversharks in an Atlantic League game at Campbell's Field.

Wilmington 1, Myrtle Beach 1

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Blue Rocks' Carolina League game against the Pelicans ended in a tie after eight innings and strong thunderstorms.

Since the teams do not meet again in the first half of the season, the game will not be completed.

Wilmington's run came on Donnie Murphy's two-out RBI double in the seventh inning.
