That is a 3rd win in a row now. Cordero gathering his 17th straight save without a blown save. We had to come back in the 9th with 2 HR's from Matthews and Blaylock, both solo shots. We won 5-3. R.A. Dickey pitched 6 strong innings, Shouse gave up the 2 runs to let the Tribe get back into the game in the 8th. But our young bats are still alive and well in June. We improved to 29-22. And 13-13 on the road. Something we need to improve on for sure.
Now we are off to NYC to face the Yanks. It should be interesting. I hope we can put forth the same effort we showed the Yankees here just a couple of weeks ago.
