from swept to sweep

This NL East division is something else, topsy-turvy and tight!

Today the Marlins were swept by the the Reds and the braves are losing. If all holds out we will be tied for third with the Braves and 3 games back from 1st! C'mon 'Spos beat those Braves!

I know it is too early to look at the standings, but I believe the Mets will be a true blue (and orange) contender. OMG! I'm in love with the 2004 Mets! They got some fight in them, they manage to win and bounce back!

These 4 games with the Marlins are looking really important, please let the Mets take this momentum/mojo into the series! C'mon!

So far, this season has been fun to watch. Sure, being swept by the Marlins was no fun, but unlike last year, you don't get the feeling that the Mets will go into a long freefall or tailspin because of a series sweep. They just brush it aside and then start winning again!

Definitely Cyn, any team that beats that other team is okay by me...D'backs, Angels and Marlins! But I have had a very lose! die! lose! attitude toward the fish this year becuase they beat the Mets! They are the enemy!

When I first joined Addicts, I often did double-takes on edited posts, since I'd think, "Wait a sec... didn't the post originally say such-n-such???" (Yes, I was slow at first and didn't realize the post had been edited... :tongue: )

I mean, I guess I'm more used to having people edit their posts for misspellings or grammatical errors or stuff like that. I wasn't used to people totally changing what they had said (either by removing stuff or totally changing their original point). Now, I'm more used to it! :D

hehehe, man you guys are FAST! I wasn't sure it made sense and it seemed wishy washy (I was like pro-marlin for beating the skanks, boo-marlins for sweeping us. pro marlins if i had to pick another team in this division, heck why not the 'Spos teh underdog! The bottom line is: My heart belongs to my Mets!
