Minor Leagues | Trenton wins in 10; Reading subdues Norwich, 8-7

HARRISBURG - Omar Fuentes singled in the winning run in the 10th inning and the Trenton Thunder defeated the Harrisburg Senators, 3-2, in the Eastern League last night for their second straight extra-inning win.
Jake Weber's two-run homer in the 16th inning had given the Thunder a 6-4 win over the Senators on Tuesday night.
Reading 8, Norwich 7
READING - John Castellano's RBI single in the bottom of the ninth gave the Phillies the Eastern League win.
Reading's Jim Deschaine was 2 for 2 with a homer, three walks, three runs and three RBIs.
The Philadelphia Phillies bought the contract of righthanded reliever Felix Villegas from the Atlantic City Surf and assigned him to Reading.
Philadelphia second baseman Placido Polanco will play for Reading on a rehabilitation assignment at 7:05 tonight.
Lynchburg 5, Wilmington 4
LYNCHBURG, Va. - Taber Lee's RBI single in the eighth gave the Hillcats the win over the Blue Rocks in the Carolina League. The shortstop was 2 for 4 with three RBIs.

NEWARK, N.J. - Michael Coleman and Keith Maxwell each homered and drove in three runs as the Bears won the Atlantic League game.
