 You guys hear his interview? He said he feels Pedro is so unhappy with the Sox and the Nation, that he is giving up. He thinks Pedro is fine, but just feels the Sox don't care about him, so he's not gonna care until he leaves.
This is very disturbing.

I think it's disgusting if this is true. You think everyone is always happy with their job? I doubt it. In fact, i'm willing to bet that more than 50% of this country isn't happy with their jobs. But does that stop them from doing their job well? I don't think so. So what if he's unhappy. he's getting paid huge amounts of money to throw a freaking ball at someone else. If he's not happy, give us our goddamn money back so we can get someone else.

Ordinarily, I would blow nonsense like this off, but, coming from a friend of Pedro's, you gotta wonder. :(

I'm hoping, or rather, praying that once the season comes to an end, I'll be able to smile and wave as Pedro and Lowe find new teams. I don't like Lowe because of his performance, and I can't stand Pedro because of his attitude.
Eff Pedro!

I think it's be a convienient excuse, to avoid the actual fact that Pedro simply sucks and is over the hill.
And either way, Pedro's a ***** and needs to give us $18M dollars, so we can use it to get a better pitcher. Is Frank Castillo still around?

I would prefer a 70% Pedro then taking a chance on anyone else. You don't resign Pedro.
You will get another pitcher but you won't be replacing Pedro that will not be easy if even possible.
Pedro does not suck. Are you ready to run him out of town like Roger Clemens?
This is his worst season to date. That doesn't mean he is done for his career. He may not be the dominating Pedro but he is smart and knows how to pitch. He will find his way.
So please stop with all this yahoo attitude.

this is definitely his worst season, maybe he just wants to leave.
But then again, if he plays awfull who will give him 18Mil next year?
