I find them both to have very little purpose. Which is more pointless?

The interleague deal needs to be re-worked, but the full-time pinch-hitter nonsense needs to go completely away.

Interleague play.

I would like the DH better if it were all-or-nothing. Either both leagues adopt it, or scrap it completely.

The DH is a position for a player who should either retire or learn to throw a ball.

I like them both. Without the DH we would have either Konerko or Thomas on the bench at all times. :(

interleague is more useless, the dh has been around long enough now that it is LESS annoying but still useless

as for the DH rule, if you can't catch or field or throw a ball then get off the diamond and retire

Interleague play is more annoying because it makes me have to deal with the DH.

Otherwise, my team wouldn't have to deal with the idea of a DH (except maybe in October).

I think you need to play both halves of the inning, but it doesn't really bother me if I don't have to look at it every day and I live in an NL city.

I voted for interleague play. I only like it when it's the Yankees and the Mets.

DH. It changes the way the game is played. Interleague action is just a scheduling nightmare (completely MLBs fault) and is a slight slap at tradition. It can affect pennant races, but the DH alters the essence of play, imo.

...the DH alters the essence of play, imo.

EXACTLY! Well said, Trots!

One other thing I'd toss in is for many of you, the AL has always had the DH while Interleague play is still relatively new ... Not meant to be a "in the good ol' days" comment, but the idea of the AL using the DH is just normal since that's the way it's always been ... My argument for/against the DH has always been if you're going to have one "specialist," why not just go to an offensive team and a defensive team like football?

No, I'm seriously not advocating this ... But the often-used comment, "I don't pay to see pitchers bat" in support of the DH could be used to support it ... Why not put your best defensive nine players and your best offensive nine players on the field or in the lineup if you just want to get your top dollar's worth?
