The man that brought SHREK to DreamWorks has optioned another creation from the late children's novelist William H. Steig's estate. Producer John H. Williams now has the film rights to THE ZAJABA JUNGLE, an adventure about a young boy that sets off to rescue his parents held somewhere in a jungle populated with larger-than-life dangers.
Williams is a producer on both SHREK films and is also the founder of Vanguard Animation, a new company that is developing and creating a series of computer generated animated films. Vanguard's first feature is VALIANT, set for release next year by Walt Disney Pictures.
