I saw this at WalMart and asked that same question and I was told that the new edition just has some little goodies extra about Spidey 2 and a few other little tidbits... You are basically just buying it for the extras....

Oh and it also comes I believe with a free ticket to see Spidey 2 which is cool:thumbsup:

ok theirs the original dvd (spider-man) and as you know theres the extra dvd. Inside the extra dvd there's the free ticket for the movie and the third disc. Inside the disc they talk a bit about the second movie-trailers, doc.oc. Then theirs a bonus extra with the costumes of goblin/spider-man, the wrestling (can't remember the rest, i'll post it later). The next thing is you have to put your dvd into your pc (if your pc has dvd rom) and they show you the new game, movie and, which i did not check yet, is the new game which i think you can play a level or two.

Is there any mention of the Lizard villan being in Spidey 2??

I originally thought he was in there and they were just making his costume, etc a big suprise but I have heard nothing lately on his character...

i think ther'll be Dr. Connors in the film, but i don't think the lizard will be there, i heard mentioning him in the third one.
