Indians get a new look
Indians change uniforms for first time since '94

CLEVELAND -- The Indians have gone through a lot of changes in this past off-season. Not only will the new players on the field reflect that, but the Indians' uniforms will too.
Cleveland is making a major change to its uniform for the first time since 1994, the year it moved into Jacobs Field. For home games on the weekend and on holidays (home opener is considered a holiday), the Indians will be wearing a brand new white, sleeveless top with a navy undershirt. The Chief Wahoo logo appears on the left chest of the jersey, and navy piping trails up the buttons and around the neck.
When wearing these uniforms, the club will also sport a new cap. The Indians have introduced a new red script 'I', which appears on the front of the navy cap. The Indians' new batting practice jersey also features the new script 'I' logo.
For the traditional home and away uniforms, the change isn't as dramatic. Silver is the new color of the piping on these uniforms. This marks the first time in club history the team is adding a color other than red, white and blue.
The alternative navy uniform will be used only on the road. The usual script 'Indians' is written in red across the chest and the piping is silver.
