The D-Rays are red hot, so obviously this is not the D-Rays team we are used to seeing. But then again, they gave us trouble last year when they were bad, so maybe we could reverse that here. I can only hope tonight...

Chad Gaudin (1-1, 3.28) vs. Pat Hentgen (2-6, 5.74) Pat has really struggled this year. Some people are suggesting he might be our closer by the end of the season, if Frasor fails that is. Gaudin's numbers are good, I dont know much about him, but going by his numbers he seems to have the advantage over Hentgen for tonight's start.

Victor Zambrano (7-4, 5.15) vs. Roy Halladay (6-4, 3.84) Halladay hasnt been the same Roy as he was last year, but he's still been effective, and his numbers are still better then Zambrano, I predict this is where Tampa's impressive streak comes to an end.

Jon Halama (3-1, 2.88) vs. Ted Lilly (6-3, 3.83) Lilly is really gaining a lot of Toronto fan's attention because he has pitched well this season even though he had low expectations for pitching in Sky Dome. This one is tough though, Halama has good numbers, but his past isnt that great.

Well Pat did continue to struggle and the D-Rays won their 12th straight 5-1. Time for Halladay to end the streak tomorrow

Tampa Bays streak finally came to an end tonight. Despite some early troubles Roy pitched great, 7 innings 5 hits, 1 run, 8 Ks. Victor Zambrano was no slouch going 8 strong innings, but a wild pitch allowed Alexis Rios, the tieing run to score. Reed Johnson then ended it in the 10th with an RBI single that scored Chris Woodward. Vinny Chulk and Jason Frasor, the future of the pen, combined for 3 innings of 1 hit ball and Frasor picked up the win to improve to 3-2. Jesus Colome picked up the loss for Tampa to fall to 1-1.
