Vivendi Universal Games is launching a game based on Twentieth Century Fox's upcoming CGI animated flick ROBOTS, aiming for a first quarter, 2005 release. (ROBOTS hits the big screen on March 11, 2005.) Eurocom Entertainment Software is onboard to develop the 3D action/adventure game.
The ROBOTS game puts you in the metal shoes (and body) of one Rodney Copperbottom, not just the film's hero but also the digital alter ego you'll use to fight an evildoer intent on taking over the robot world. Meanwhile, you get to explore the movie's many landscapes, including a "mechanical metropolis of moving gears and winding parts", all the while turning your body into different gadgets while fighting bad robots.
