The Chicago White Sox and Seattle Mariners just completed a trade within the last few minutes,sending P Freddy Garcia,and C Ben Davis to the White Sox for C Miguel Olivo,top OF prospect Jeremy Reed,and minor-league SS Michael Morse.

You see the yankees made this trade go to not olet the Red sox get him but to let Strienbrenner's friend get it.

Maybe for the time being.We lost our #1 catcher,and our #1 prospect/heir apparent to Magglio Ordonez.

Don't get me wrong,I'm happy to see Garcia in Chicago,but I think we paid too steep a price to get him.

This is a huge gamble for White Sox GM Kenny Williams.Not only does he have to resign Maggs,now he has opened his mouth about inking Garcia to a new deal.
