Andy Pettitte (P) Hou
The Astros activated Andy Pettitte from the DL, and he's expected to start Tuesday night. Pettitte has been out since late May and has missed five starts with a strained forearm and sore elbow.

5 innings, left with a lead. Threw about 90 pitches with an ump with a tight strike zone. Astros blew the lead for him of course:angry:
He also hit a double

Not really sure how much he had in the tank. He was probably better off pulling him because he seemed to be shaky in that fifth inning.

no he wasnt pulled too early. he was worked pretty hard in 3 innings and was probably near 90 or so pitches, which sounds about right for a first start back.
TC, that umpire was tight on both sides. he was squeezing glendon too!

I agree, absolutely. I didn't mean to sound like the Astros were getting the short end of the stick. Today's game was the same. The strike zone seems to have shrunk lately:notme:
