i thought i wouldn't like the last Terminator but i actually enjoyed it.
i thought i'd be upset with all the violence i'd heard about in Kill Bill and not really like the movie, but i ended up LOVING IT (i felt like i was uma! i thought they made that movie for ME :D) i'm gonna go see kill bill 2 tomorrow!
i also didn't think i'd enjoy Gladiator cuz i normally don't like war/fighting movies (i was really disturbed by that last scene in Braveheart--i wish i hadn't seen that movie :() but i LOVED loved Gladiator
what movies did you go see, thinking you probably wouldn't like it, but then were pleasantly surprised?

braveheart was awesome and so was the patriot with mel gibson......the blood and killings were great
ok a movie i saw that i thought i would hate was a walk to remember with many moore, i actually liked it, of course i had to sit there pretending i didn't like it all the while i was dying to find out how it ends and how the story moved along
it was really sad when she died (sorry if i spoiled the ending, though the movie is like 3 years old)
ok NO ONE MUST KNOW THIS

:rotf: omigod! you are too funny! :laff:
i LOVED LOVED that movie  i figured it was gonna be sappy and corny and filled with bad acting, but that movie was GOOD. surprisingly good. mandy moore was excellent! i was really surprised by her work.... most teen idol singers suck at acting but she was better than alot of regular actors! she was so genuine... not TRYING to act, like britney in her lame-o movie Crossroads shhh don't tell anyone i saw that :devillook
yeah, the end was sad..... did you cry luis? :crying2:

One movie I saw on video (not theaters) was "Pulp Fiction". I totally refused to see it in the theaters since I knew I wouldn't like all the gore and blood (not my thing).
But, one day a few years ago, I was at a friend's house with a couple of other guys. They wanted to watch "Pulp Fiction". I cringed but figured, "Oh, well." Lo and behold, I actually enjoyed it. I wouldn't go so far as to say I ended up "loving" it, but I did ask my friend to borrow the tape to watch it again. :D

i hated the new terminator. it was too depressing.
2 fast 2 furious was actually a lot better than what i thought. i usually dont change my opinion of a movie going into it except for the worse.

I love Gladiator also :)
umm......probably kill Bill2. Why? well i heard by lots of people that it was way more talking than the first one and a lot less action. But i decided to go and i found it better than i thought it would be.

How can you not love that one? It was action Packed and they made it so real that you belive that is posable. The 3rd one just rocked and was the best one of all three.

What a sick, sick mind you have.
I didn't think I was going to like the remake of Cheaper by the dozen they released about 6 months ago, and I was right.

Yeah, It's a Debate
I think 3 is better but if you think 2 is better then that's cool for that one was great too.

I remember seeing the preview to American Beauty and yawning. I also remember looking at the poster for Fight Club and thought it was a stupid idea for a movie. By the way, I think you can easily classify those two as my favorite movies.

I love Bruce Campbell!
I am watching 13 going on 30 right now and it is so cute! I am really enjoying it, despite it's predictable ending....
