Well how about that. The one day I leave town, the Blue Jays bats wakeup and hammer the D-Rays 14-0, a team that they have traditionally had trouble with. And guess what? I am leaving again tonight, and so are the Jays who are off to San Juan to face the Expos in another all Canada matchup, possibly the last all Canadian series in the history of the MLB with the Expos possibly heading to D.C. or elsewhere next year. Here are the matchups:
David Bush (First MLB start) vs. Livan Hernandez (5-7, 3.47 ERA) Livan is a great pitcher, and has shown that this season. Bush meanwhile is making his first start and he is a prospect that excites me for the future. His ERA wasnt outstanding in AAA, it was 4.06, but he is better then Hentgen, I can tell you that.
Roy Halladay (6-5, 4.10) vs. Tony Armas Jr. (1-2, 6.17) Halladay is coming off maybe his worst start so far. Give Armas sometime to get back to normal coming off of an injury...
Ted Lilly (7-4, 4.04) vs. Shawn Hill (0-1, 27.00) who the hell is Shawn Hill? Lilly= excellent pitcher. I'd take him.
