I rented it yesterday. TERRIBLE movie. :thumbdown

I had high expectations because I heard it was "Sooooo freaking knee slapping funny." OK, Billy Bob Thornton cursing, drinking, and pissing on himself was funny for about five seconds, then it got old. I only managed a chuckle or two during the movie. Very disappointing.

Oh, and I rented the "BadDER Santa" unrated version. The only thing I can imagine making this unrated might have been more swearing, because the sex scenes were certainly nothing special.

Add this to the list of crappy Billy Bob Thornton movies I've seen. :thumbdown

Ray, I can only offer my own opinion. Who knows, maybe you'd like it. I rented it because so many people told me how funny it was. Unfortuntely, about 45 minutes into it, I turned to my wife and said angrily, "This movie sucks!!!"

i didn't like it either. it's more than just toilet humor, it's kinda dark....but i didn't think it was very funny, just sad..... i have a hard time watching billy bob also...don't know what angelina saw in him :confused:

Really you guys didn't like it? I saw it in Dec. when it first opened and thought it was funny. Yeah, there were parts that were stupid, but I laughed a lot. I also love Lauren Graham and it was John Ritter's last movie. :crying2: :rip: John was my favorite actor since I was about 6 years old. I don't think I'll ever get over his death. I was upset for weeks and I'm so disappointed that I'll never have a chance to meet him. It also breaks my heart that he died on his daughter's birthday.

Ok, I got kind of off topic...but I did like the movie.
