I have never seen Randy blow up like that on an ump or on a team mate. Considering Gonzo made that error I don't think he should have said one damn thing. The balls and strikes arguing that the Big Unit did was amazing to me.

Seriously I don't think he is going anywhere. I don't think the D'Backs will trade him, he is really the only reason people come to the park any more. Not only that but I don't think the Yanks, Angels or Mets are willing to give up the nesscary prospects, or in the Yanks case I don't think they have the prospects that the D'Backs would have.

randy johnson to the yankees would suck because the yankees would be cheap and give us prospects and miguel cairo. the yankees have a crappy farm system where their best player is a quarterback for the dallas cowboys, so unless they got some hidden gem somwhere, it aint happening. remember the schilling deal where they were going to give us soriano but they were unwilling to part with nick johnson. yeah.

but texas, well, thats a team in contention that needs some pitching, and they would get it in randy. so what if it's a hitters park, randy would be good in it. i can see him in ranger blue. im surprised that texas hasnt inquired about him yet.

one last thing. steve finley should be in the all star game. if i were jack mckeon and griffey is in fact shelved, the first thing i do is call steve and ask him, do you want to go to houston. he plays center field like no other before him, and his bat has been smokin all season. why not him. for my money, steve finley is the most underrated player in the game.

You have a good point about Texas. That is somthing I didn't think about. Who will they send to Arizona? I don't think they could part with Sori or any other position player and their pitchin prospects always seem to be horrid.

Finley should have beat Griffey for the spot in my IMO.
