This morning I went straight to the sports section and what did I see? Nothing original, just the bullpen blowing it again. Under the headline: Bullpen blows another one. I went, "Well, la-de-freakin-da." Cause there is no hope left in me this season. I admit it, were done, were finished, we are now the doormat of the National League. We have a Triple-A infield, our starting staff besides Johnson sucks, and our bullpen is a freakin adventure. So what to do now? Just hope for the future, thats all. I say fire the GM, and try your damndest to hire a better GM that knows more about a farm system. Cause what we have now isnt working(obviously). Most of these guys shouldnt even be up here in the majors. They should be in Triple-A or even Double-A. The D-Backs should start from scratch and draft promising prospects. Then they shouldnt rush them through the minors, they should take their time and groom them for the majors. Find a person to build the offense around(preferably Sexson, if he resigns). Then find a new hitting coach because the reason we cant score runs or hit worth a crap is because we arent taking enough walks. If we took walks, we would score more runs. Plus, have the GM call every manager in the farm system and ask them if they are doing the same thing that the big leaguers are doing, which is taking more walks. If they dont go up, then tell them, They go up or youre fired. Yes, I took this from Moneyball, but it will work. I guara-damn-tee it. Im out.

Jerry Colangelo I agree should be fired. The moves he made last offseason were horrid. I hate the Schilling deal because we gave up a great pitcher for a crappy #7 pitcher and a rent a player who we gave to the Brewers along with one of the best prospects we had ever had in Overbay who is having a great year. We signed an ovverrated player in Alomar who has done nothing for this team but fill a spot on the DL. Brett Mayne I never understood.

Actually, it wasnt Colangelo. It was Joe Garagiola Jr. But that doesnt make Colangelo any less responsible for the damage him and Joe Jr have done to this organization.
